Saint Geyrac is a little hamlet in the stunning Périgord Noir area of the Dordogne. Our house is a 17th century former blacksmith’s cottage.

Nestled around an ancient church (with parts dating back to the 8th century), the hamlet is surrounded by hills and oak forests, and is near castles, caves, the Dordogne and Vézère rivers, and many ancient market towns. With long country walks on the door-step, other activities in the area include canoeing, horse-riding, fishing, cycling and more. There is a small café/restaurant/shop in the village, with other restaurants and shops a few minutes away by car.

A wonderful place for nature-lovers, it is the perfect spot for peace and quiet all year round, yet near all the best of this wonderful region.

Fully modernised and centrally heated, the cottage has two bedrooms (one double, one twin), a modern bathroom with bath/shower and WC and a further separate WC. The spacious living area has a traditional fireplace with a woodburner, and there are large private gardens, barbecue, parking, well-equipped kitchen area, washing machine, CD player and TV with DVD library. Steep stairs make it unsuitable for the infirm. We have a no-smoking policy.

Saint Geyrac is convenient for motorways and Bergerac, Bordeaux and Limoges airports.
